Description

The TX22 FRT is a precision drop-in forced-reset trigger engineered for all Taurus TX22 models. Manufactured from laser-cut, CNC-finished, heat-treated D2 tool steel, it delivers exceptional durability, consistent engagement, and long service life.

The forced-reset mechanism resets the trigger during slide cycling, allowing faster, consistent trigger pulls while maintaining one function per round fired. If forced reset does not engage, the firearm continues to operate normally in semi-automatic mode. No permanent modifications required.

Built with precise geometry and hardened D2 steel, the TX22 FRT provides a consistent break, smooth reset, and reliable performance under heavy use.

  • Works normally in semi-auto

Cause:

Improper trip engagement, weak cycling, or friction.

Fixes:

  • Ensure trip is properly installed and aligned
  • Rack the slide 10–20 times to mate engagement surfaces
  • Lubricate slide rails and engagement points
  • Use full-power, quality ammunition
  • Inspect for debris or obstruction
